Rush is a time for potential new members to get to know current members and vice versa.
Our Rush takes place in the Fall of each year. We look forward to meeting you!

Eligibility Criteria
Open to all freshmen, sophomores, and juniors!
Initial requirements include:

Have a minimum 3.0 GPA and currently be in good standing
-
Be currently enrolled as a full-time student at the University of Pittsburgh
-
Have intentions to pursue a career in a health-related field
-
Represent the three founding pillars of Rho Psi Eta (academic integrity, community service, and sisterhood
-
Complete an initial application
Rush
Criteria
Attend all mandatory rush events:

An information session
-
Speed Dating Rush Event
-
Held with all active members of the chapter
-
-
An interview
-
Interviews will be decided after the initial review of your application
-
Attending other rush events is not required, but may increase your chance of being offered a bid

Responsibilities of Pledges
In order to be initiated into Rho Psi Eta, all new pledges must complete initial requirements.
Initial requirements include:

Organizing a fundraising event with your pledge class
-
Organizing a community service event with your pledge class
-
Complete a Rho Psi Eta exam
-
Attend new member education meetings
-
Recite the oath at initiation
-
Uphold the three pillars of Rho Psi Eta

Responsibilities of Active Members
In order to maintain active status as a Rho Psi Eta sister you must...
-
Attend at least one community service event per month with Rho Psi Eta
-
Attend at least one sisterhood event per month
-
Complete academic requirements
-
Maintain good academic standing and required GPA
-
Attend 2 study hours per month
-
Complete any additional requirements set by the Academic Chair

Attend biweekly general body meetings
-
Attend all mandatory events
-
(ex. philanthropy events, speed dating rush event, bid day, induction, big/little reveal, etc.)

Maintain certification in CPR
-
Pay annual dues
